Is the iPhone Ready for Law Firms?

"It used to be that the only thing lawyers tried to recruit was new clients. But these days, seemingly every firm has a group of attorneys pushing to bring aboard something else entirely: iPhones. And they want them badly.
"I have probably 15 people who continue to e-mail me about it," says the IT director at an Am Law 100 firm who asked not to be identified. "This one attorney, he goes out and finds someone who says he can solve any iPhone problem for $175," he says. "These attorneys, they want this thing so much, they are off trying to solve my problems."

Why You Should Never Talk to The Police, with out your lawyer or immunity

Example Reasons
1) There is no way they can help you. You can not talk your way out of getting arrested.
2) Police cannot testify to your benefit at trial. See Federal Rule of Evidence 801(d)(2)(A). Police can only testify against you.
3) Even if your are totally innocent you will always give information that may be used to convict you (wrongly).
4) Police are not your best friend, priest or buddy they are paid to arist

If You Rescue Someone You May Get Sued!

Would-be heroes were warned by the retarded California Supreme Court on Thursday that they could be liable for damages if they inadvertently injure a person while attempting a rescue. In a 4-3 ruling, the high court held that a state statute immunizing rescuers from liability applies only if the individual is providing medical care in an emergency situation. It doesn't apply when Good Samaritans accidently cause injuries while, for example, pulling someone out of a burning house or diving into swirling waters to save a drowning swimmer.
